Anotace: The first part of the General English for B1 course focuses on two important and rather problematic areas of the English grammar, namely verbal tenses and questions.
The level of the course is B1-B2, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Like all other courses in the project, the course aims to refresh, practise, and further build up the active knowledge of common grammatical structures and general English vocabulary.
The target competence of this course is to know the forms and main usage of individual verbal tenses in English and to revise or become familiar and actively master the formation of questions."

Topic 2 specifies importance of arts. Topic 3 is concerned with creativity. Topic 4 deals with music education. The final task of this course includes creating a lesson plan of an arts lesson for preschool children. Participants who finish the course are able to develop, apply, and evaluate a lesson plan dealing with art education in the preschool age."

Anotace: The course is a continuation of the course Reasons for Social Work Intervention. It aims to present further social issues and target group(s) in addition to those presented in the first part. The focus is again on mastering English terminology, as well as some basic knowledge about the social issues that are covered and that may lead to situations in which social work intervention is needed.
PART II covers the following topics:
- Vulnerability of childhood
- The frailty of old age
- Disability
- Mental health issues
- Addiction
The level of the course is B1-B2, as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
The target competence of this course is to be able to present the social issues/phenomena that are covered and the related target groups (populations) and forms of assistance available using appropriate terminology and to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to be able to present one's own personal social work experience."

Anotace: The course aims to present the topic of the human life cycle. The main goal is to master the English terminology and acquire the necessary skills to read and understand texts of varying length on the topics of social work and related areas. The course contents cover basic information about general aspects of human development, i.e. the areas in which humans generally develop during their life cycle, an overview of the main stages with the typical achievements, together with the possible risks and crises, the knowledge of which is essential for a social worker to be able to understand the needs and problems of their clients.
The course is divided into the following five units:
1. Introduction to human development
2. Childhood
3. Adolescence
4. Adulthood
5. Old age
The level of the course is B1-B2 as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The course also aims to refresh, practise, and further build up the active knowledge of common grammatical structures and general English vocabulary.
The target competence of this course is to be able to present the stages in the human life cycle that are covered using correct up-to-date terminology."

Anotace: The course focuses on the family and substitute child care. We define the family and its structure and functions in connection with terminology from the point of view of a social worker. Substitute child care is aimed at adoption, foster care, guardianship, host care and SOS Children’s Villages. We also describe infants' homes and children’s homes.
The level of the course, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is B1-B2. The course also aims to refresh and further build up active knowledge of grammatical structures and general vocabulary.
The competence the course aims to instil is to be able to define the family – its structure, functions, and types of upbringing and substitute child care linked to the position of a social worker. We emphasise the correct grammatical connections of these expressions."

Požadovaný soubor není distribuován pod otevřenou licencí.
Tento produkt projektu je autorským dílem, chráněným zákonem č. 121/2000 Sb., o právu autorském, o právech souvisejících s právem autorským a o změně některých zákonů (autorský zákon), ve znění pozdějších předpisů.
